I have been a strongman now for 6 years and very much learned on the job!
Having never really gym trained before starting strongman I joined a local place called Bristol's Strongest Gym and hit a 120kg log on my first ever session.  Maybe this was for me!

I competed in one novice and one inters comp before doing local opens competitions and really getting into the new sport I had discovered.

I did the England's strongest Man southern qualifier as my 4th comp placing 9/13 but knowing what I had to do to climb the ranks.  Two years later I went back and competed there again placing 3rd and earning a place and England's strongest Man.
I then competed at Englands placing 2nd and earning my invite to UK's strongest Man in Belfast where I crashed out on day 1 having torn my meniscus in my right knee at Englands (the previous comp).

After surgery and some serious recover I came back to the southern qualifier with a point to prove and won it by 11 points taking me back to England's strongest Man again.  I finished finished 3rd after a points mix up on the day and headed to the UK's strongest Man in St Alban's layer that year.

I placed 6th at UK's strongest Man after 3 days of gruelling competition.

Since then I have now competed in several Strongman Champions League events consistently placing in the top 10 and aiming for higher placings next time out!

2020 saw my first invite to Giants Live: Britain's Strongest man placing 12/13 and learning harsh but valuable lessons making me hungrier for success than ever before!
