Scam & Fraud Notice
Brand Protection Notice: Recognizing False Sponsorship Offers
At TuffWraps, we take pride in working directly with athletes, ambassadors, and members of our TUFF community. Unfortunately, we've been made aware of scammers impersonating our brand to offer fake athlete sponsorships and paid social media deals via email and direct messages on social platforms.
These individuals are not affiliated with TuffWraps and are fraudulently using our name to mislead people.
Common Scam Tactics We've Seen:
- Offering fake athlete sponsorships with promises of a monthly payment and/or pay-per-post deals.
-
Messaging you from unofficial or unverified Instagram, TikTok, or Facebook accounts.
-
Using email addresses that are NOT from @tuffwraps.com.
-
Pushing you to provide personal information or urging you to sign up through suspicious links or third-party websites.
-
Asking for credit card information or requesting payments to "secure your spot" — this is a major red flag.
We will NEVER ask you to provide credit card info via email, DM, or a third-party site. All legitimate transactions occur ONLY through TuffWraps.com. If someone asks you to pay or submit card details elsewhere, it is a scam.
How to Identify Real Communication from TuffWraps
To help protect yourself from these scams, please carefully review any message claiming to be from TuffWraps.
All official TuffWraps emails will ONLY come from:
@tuffwraps.com
(Examples: support@tuffwraps.com, marketing@tuffwraps.com, etc.)
If the email comes from a Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, or any other domain, it is not us.
All official social media outreach will ONLY come from our verified or main accounts:
We will never contact you from secondary or private accounts asking you to become an athlete or provide personal information.
If You’ve Been Contacted by a Scammer
If you suspect someone is impersonating TuffWraps, do not engage. Instead, take the following steps:
-
Do not provide any personal or financial information.
-
Screenshot the message and sender's profile.
-
Report the account on the platform (Instagram, Facebook, etc.).
-
Forward the email or screenshots to us at support@tuffwraps.com so our team can investigate.
